LEED AP

As of this morning Aaron has a title, you may now address him as

Aaron U**, LEED AP

CONGRATULATIONS!!

This means that he knows all there is to know about "green" building practices and so people will pay him oodles to design their buildings. At least that's what I'm hoping. I actually was able to utilize his vast knowledge last night when I was writing a newsletter article for work, but he hasn't billed me yet, so I don't know how drastically his fees will be increasing.

Enter

One of the major reasons I haven't posted much this month is, no time {SHOCK}...okay, actually that is the only reason. I've had lots to say but no time to eloquently compose words, so those thoughts will have to wait. BUT - on one thing time is running out.

So - I ain't going to worry about riten pretty and I'm just going to strongly suggest that you visit Reading for Sanity - a blog that I contribute to (as infrequently as I do this blog) and that is having a giveaway.

What kind of giveaway? FIVE FREE BOOKS. You have until the end of the month (gasp, 4 days.)

So go.

Go.

(And seriously, if you enter you better say that you plan to read one of the books I reviewed or else I'll be VERY offended. Not joking. But of course you have your agency.) {Angelic smile}

Worth Waiting For

I know its been a while since I posted - BUT - I think this video clip will make up for it!

It is almost heartbreaking how sweetly she looks at the camera with no idea about how funny this is.

PJ Day

We have had a lot of fun this past week showing Aaron's sister around MA (yes, I will have pictures). Tessa was thrilled to once again have a 3rd adult to follow her around and she was overjoyed to discover that the world is full of "aunties." However, six "off-schedule" days really threw her for a loop and she was showing her "terrible-twos" hardcore.

So today, with no discussion between Aaron and I, we each decided that as good parents we would let her stay in her jammies all day and cater to her every whim. Turns out, she didn't ask for anything (okay, much of anything) she couldn't/shouldn't have and seems to have returned to her cheery, much-less-emotional, daddy-adoring, mommy-helping, Meg-snuggling self.

I think next time I'm feeling overly emotional I'll just stay in my jammies and give myself whatever I want. I can't wait.
