I had a moment tonight.
We spent Family Home Evening at the Common where we luxuriated in the amazing weather. Tessa has been surprising me, pleasantly, by finding three-year-olds to chase around the park with. I looked up when I heard her laughing and screaming to see her run full speed around the slide with a curly haired girl in hot pursuit. It only took me a second to realize that this little girl (who I'd seen around the past few years with her mother) was at the NEMC NICU at the same time Tessa was.
Two happy beautiful girls playing together.
When I introduced myself to her father he said "Thank goodness for that place." I agreed.

Wow. That post just took my breath away. What an amazing moment. Kiss your miracle for me!
I'm so in facebook mode. I read that and was quickly looking for the 'like' button. Yay for nicu's good hospitals, amazing technology and skilled doctors, even if they do cost and arm and a leg. They're worth it.
Oh. Now I have a catch in my throat and tears in my eyes...
I think it's just so cool that they found each other and were playing together. Like little kindred spirits.
You had a special moment. Thank goodness for those. They help remind us of our very most special blessings.
So that could make me cry. Your little girls are so precious.
