We have had a lot of fun this past week showing Aaron's sister around MA (yes, I will have pictures). Tessa was thrilled to once again have a 3rd adult to follow her around and she was overjoyed to discover that the world is full of "aunties." However, six "off-schedule" days really threw her for a loop and she was showing her "terrible-twos" hardcore.
So today, with no discussion between Aaron and I, we each decided that as good parents we would let her stay in her jammies all day and cater to her every whim. Turns out, she didn't ask for anything (okay, much of anything) she couldn't/shouldn't have and seems to have returned to her cheery, much-less-emotional, daddy-adoring, mommy-helping, Meg-snuggling self.
I think next time I'm feeling overly emotional I'll just stay in my jammies and give myself whatever I want. I can't wait.

Sounds like an amazing plan! Can I join in?
Yeah! I do that about every Sunday. (Sunday is my jammies day.) I come home from church and change straight to pajamas. Can you imagine having another kid when Juliet is 14. Ha ha hhhhhehh.
I miss you guys!
That is such a good idea! We need a "jammie day" at our house every now and then. Maybe tomorrow. . .
My kids love their jammies. It's mommy who can't stand to not be in real clothes by 8:00.;) And for the record, I can't believe that worked. Good for you!
This sounds like an excellent idea. If somebody took care of me all day and let me hang out in my pajamas, I imagine I would be in a great mood the next day.
