We have been telling Tessa for about a month that a baby was going to come live with us. She saw a lot of babies in the mean time and she was always disappointed when none of them came to live with us!!
Finally the day came when she got to meet our baby. After meeting Meg, each time she came to visit us in the hospital I would hear her coming down the hall calling out "Hey Baby."
She still thinks Meg is great and greets each morning with a "Hey Baby", but still it is hard to share your Momma.

I love her little smile when she got Meg in her arms. What a great sister she will be!
I love how she looked up at you when Meg was in her lap like, "Wow! Look Mom!" Very sweet!
Secondly, does every hospital in America have those drapes and that chair? I have baby pictures that look like they could've been taken in that very room.
OH MY GOSH! That is the sweetest thing EVER!!!
I could watch that over and over again!
What great footage! She's so happy so meet her sister.
That's priceless. That smile on her face like "look what I've got!"... I hope my kids like their little sister that much when she gets here. Rett is now to the point where he will come up and violently poke my bulging belly and say, "Wiwee!!" (her name is Lillie) Occasionally he gets the bumps confused and pokes a little higher, but then, he's only 2.;) Hope all's well. Your girls are dolls.
well if she doesn't like her, i do. what cuties! how lucky you are!
That's ADORABLE!!!
Congrats on the new baby! We are so glad that mom and baby are home and healthy!!
My niece, on the other hand, was excited her mom was having a baby, but somehow didn't get the news that the baby WAS coming home with her.
Tessa is adorable in this video--you can tell how much she loves her new baby sister.
