Lessons from Daddy

It is okay to close the door (leaving the baby on the other side) when you are going to the bathroom.

Sigh - it is much less stressful to "be in the bathroom" if you don't have a toddler trying to get to the pile of dirty dishrags, the garbage can, the under-the-sink, or the litter box.

It took me months to catch on to his wisdom but I'm a full convert.

so true...teach her the phrase "mommy needs her privacy"...that way she's not following you in to the bathroom when she's five. of course, this also works the other way around when she shoves you out of the bathroom stall at walmart and says "mommy, get out! i need my privacy"
